Frequently Asked Questions

Can I write on these cards with a pen or marker?

Yes, the uncoated kraft surface is ideal for handwriting. Pens, pencils, and markers all write smoothly, making these cards perfect for notes, signatures, or personalised touches.

Will my design show well on the brown background?

Yes—however, because kraft paper is naturally brown, we recommend using high-contrast elements such as black or deep, rich colours. Our team reviews every design and may suggest contrast adjustments to ensure maximum legibility and impact.

What’s the minimum font size for readability?

For best results on kraft stock, use a font size of at least 4pt or more. This ensures your text remains clear and easy to read against the textured brown background.

Can I order a small batch to start?

Yes, our minimum order quantity is 200 pieces, making it easy to test out your design or produce small runs for events, product tags, or seasonal branding.

Should I design in CMYK or RGB?

Always prepare your artwork in CMYK colour mode for accurate print reproduction. If your original file is in RGB, we will convert it to CMYK, which is our default colour in printing.

What bleed settings should I use?

Include a standard 4mm bleed on all sides of your design to allow for accurate trimming. If your layout includes background colours, images, or graphics that extend to the card’s edge, we recommend using a 5mm extended bleed for optimal edge-to-edge printing and clean final cuts.
